The Mystic Cookbook The Secret Alchemy of Food by Denise and Meadow Linn

Although I am only on Chapter 4 of The Mystic Cookbook written by Denise and Meadow Linn, I couldn't help but share it with you!

This book is SO magical and it's changed not only the way I look at food, but the way I feel about it, and even the way I prepare it, and digest it.

What I am about to cover isn't even a glimpse into how incredible and empowering the first few chapters are, but to really understand The Mystic Cookbook would be to read it for yourself!




Did you know that the mental state in which someone is in while preparing food could effect those who consume it? We have the ability to absorb the energy of the cook.

This book will teach you how to infuse your food with the right feelings. It will teach you not only mental techniques but ways you can set up the environment in which you cook to empower the food.

For example- what music to listen to in order to channel certain feelings into food, different things you could say, or even dances you can do.



Denise and Meadow Linn also cover how to mentally approach a meal that is already prepared- How to get your food to work for you by channeling the energy of food.

For example, you may be eating a meal that isn't 'healthy' they teach how to direct the energy of that food. If you keep telling yourself its bad, it WILL be bad for your body. If you change your thoughts you can change how that meal metabolizes in your body.

That leads to food affirmations. They share some that I've been saying out loud before meals. Using these techniques have allowed me not to feel guilty when I indulge a little.

Your food is what YOU believe it to be. It does what YOU believe it does. That of course doesn't mean you can go off eating McDonald's every day and state out loud that the pink slime hamburger is going to help you lose weight, and actually expect to lose weight.

You still have to be smart with your choices. The book basically teaches you how to add more benefits to already beneficial food and to teach your body and mind how to metabolize all food, good and not so good.

Did you know that your ancestors could have actually effected your food preferences? We have cellular food memory, but not to worry, Denise and Meadow talk about how to overcome this.

They also talk about what foods to eat enhance your life in certain ways, just a few examples:
Activate life
Bring joy
Clarity
Peace

The biggest thing I am getting out of this book is the fact that we have the power to change the frequency of a meal so that it works for us in ways that uplift the mind, body, and soul.

I will actually be on the search for crystals and pyramid replicas to help channel energy into food and preserve food! Sound interesting? Sound crazy?  I am not giving away exactly what this does, you'd have to see for yourself!
